Ode To A Lost Friend
(Anthony Lawrence)
Let joy and happiness flow in your heart when you read this Let thou be touched with the wands of angels Ever green meadows and memories fade Gone with the wind are the days with you The stars we counted late at night, Still shine to tell us not to whine. The roads we passed came in my dreams at night. Begging for a foot print together The fable we weaved and colorful dreams we shared, Waiting for us to get a snatch. Your presence brought me both joy and sorrow. Joy for the moments we shared together. And sorrow for the moments we parted from each other The world is round and it is a universal truth. Dear friend we shall meet again
