This is a description of what the novel is about.
A wealthy family move out of the city of London in to a Six bedroom renovated farmhouse in the country. As they arrive everything is fine until they venture in to the attic where years ago devil worshippers practised their incarnations. during the family's second week in the home, they start noticing strange figures watching them from the darkness. When the lights are on everything is fine but during a power cut due to a storm the house is isolated in darkness. Now the family must fight for survival as the figures will not let them leave the house and the darkness is slowly feeding on their fears.
When the lights go down, the fear goes up.
