Last Night
(Terri Blackstock)
This book was great! What if all forms of electricity simply stopped? What if the cars wouldn't drive, the lights wouldn't illuminate and the airplanes wouldn't fly? Now imagine if there was a killer on the loose? This suspense laden drama is a real page turner with rich, fully developed characters and a story line that never lets you breathe. As time goes on with power outages all over the world, the true nature of people emerges. Skapegoats are decided base on race and ethnicity. Riots erupt as people fight and shoot each other for bicyles. Horses, once all but ignored by society, were in high demand. All the while, someone is murdering people in their own homes. I enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to reading drama that doesn't have elicit sex or excessive foul language. Blackstock is on par with Patterson and Grafton.
