The book A Matter Of Trust is mainly about teenagers in this day of age just starting high school changing and finding new friends with a whole lot of drama and realization. See 2 girls(Darcy Willis and Brisana Meeks)have been best friends since grade school and their intentions are to stay BFF tell they get married but once they reach high school everything changes. Brisana donsn't like the darcy'snew friends and the Brisana wants her boyfriend. Then all mixed up in their drama is this bully (Roylin Bailey)who constantly teases darcy's boyfriend(Hakeem Randall)that the 2 girls are fighting over. So they first get into a argument over who the boy really likes and why the other just wont ammit the she is jealous. Then Darcy tells brisana that she is just mad cause she donsn't hang with skanks like her anymore and that she is really boring and she needs to grow up and just face the facts that she is nothing but a 2 faceded slut. Then i of darcy's new friends was having her birthday party at the park, so the bully roylin camed and started teasing hakeem cause he stuttered alot when he got nervous
