Trabalho Afinal O Que É?
(Vitor Century)
What is work after all? What should one think? Work is a physical strength. According to Marx, Work is the alienation of one who works, while it represents a risk as it is being fulfilled. Both the employee and employer are workers because they are working to produce wealth using their ideas andtheir physical and mental application in the search of problem resolutions in economic production or traditional maintenance. No one is priviliged: the employee or the employer. Competition waits for the faults in their organization, as though it were some sort of cynical game. *** But going back to Marx's idea: if work is alienating, the best would be not to work. However, it seems that from a theoretical point of view, this concept is not that easy to accept. Marx's ideology was, in fact, accepted as an ambush. Ironically, his friends successfuly put forth a second ideology, making fun and criticising the first one and it is still commonplace today. Ie, they did not accept to be alienated by the fact they worked, which led to a contradiction of thought. I admit that in certain conditions and work situatios you may feel that Marx was one hundred percent correct. But there are certain jobs that are healthy form both a physical and a mental point of view, regardless of the added-value reared and their beneficiaries.
