Sonnet Comparison

In the hardy sonnet hardy shows us a theme about painfull love,He shows us that love in the sonnet is not returned but in not getting the love back is enjoyable.However on the other hand shakepeares sonnet is about how love has been lost and has been taken away from him cruelly by this happening he blames himself by thinking it is his fault.The tone between the two poems is not particulary different the hardy shows a tone of depressing love he thinks that the women involved within in the sonnet will love him but still thinks there is a loss of hope. The shakespeare poem expresses a lack of self confidence and self doubt.Shakespeare's poem shows this quote which show's lack of confidence" I all alone beweep my outcast state".Hardy shows loss of hope by showing this quote"I can but maledict her, pray her dead,The language between both sonnets is on the same track. Hardy makes you look thouroughly to find the words to find the true meaning. In the shakespeare sonnet for the hidden pain you have to look deep. Many metaphors and figurative speech is used a lot. The language within the hardy poem is shown when he uses metaphors like Feeding a heart, nigh-regarding eyes.Also the metaphors in shakespeares poem is Deaf arising. man's scope, Larks at break of day arisng and wealth brings.This is how the comparsion in shakespeares sonnet ' When in disgrace of fortune and mens eyes' and hardy's sonnet ' This love puts all humanity from me is shown.
