The night was dark and quiet. The air had a mist to it that made it somewhat gloomy. The night was still. Yes, still. But the people of Amarillidan knew that it was not a good sign. When things were quiet, it meant a war was in the making. The dwarves and the elves were at each others throats in a war against time. The sooner the death of the race, the sooner the other race would move up to command. This was not a fast war, though, because both races were using the same battle tactics as the other.As the races were talking, a loud blast was heard, and some one heard the small children crying. Both races knew the "one's" had arrived...
