Poetry " Help Me Forget"

Now I lay me down to sleep.
All of my secrets are so hard to keep.
I have asked you before to help me forget.
But you haven't seemed to answer me yet.
I have asked for you to take the pain away.
But, when I wake up, I fee; exactly the same.
It hurts so much, living a lie.
It get's harder to handle, with everyday that goes by.
This wonderful person, that I try to be.
It's all just a front for me.
I have done too many things wrong.
I've tried to forget, but the pain is to strong.
My decisions have cost me my sanity.
Now I'm on my knees asking you to forgive me.
I'm sorry for all of the things I have done.
Please just help me forget, and move on.
I know I've asked for these things before.
Please answer my prayers, this time Lord.
