The Devil In Disguise

Once upon a time a holy wise man was walking alone in the desert. The scorching blazing sun overhead was unbearable. Nothing seemed to move except the holy man. Looking for shade he found a small cave and took shelter in it. "Perhaps i can rest in here from the shade" he thought to him self.
In the cave he noticed something aglow and went to take a look. He saw a heap of gold! and ran for his life.
On the track outside in the desert there were three robbers waiting to rob people who passed by. The saw the frightened old man running and stopped him. "What is the matter" they said. "It's the devil". They looked back and saw no one and wondered what is was the man afraid of. "Why don't you show us this Devil?" they said. The holy man warned them not to go there. They said "Now that you'v told us you must show us otherwise we will kill you". So, he had no choice other than to show them.
The holy man stopped at the entrance and said "Death Lies There!" and ran away. When the theives saw all the gold lying there they got very very happy indeed. They were wondering "What is that old man on about, Death Lies There?". One robber said "Too much walking in the sun i think".
They decided to spilt the gold in too three parts. They were hungry so sent one robber to the market to buy some food with the discovered gold. Whilst he was shopping the two robbers taking care of the gold turned very greedy. "Why not just split the gold just in between the two of us?", they plotted to kill the robber who was buying food when returned back. The robber who was purchasing food also turned greedy and said to himself why not just keep all the gold for my self? so he poisoned their food. As you can imagine what happened next. When he returned they murdered him and rejoiced. They ate his food. Alas! they all fell dead on the heap of gold!
As the holy man had warned them "Death Lies There" came true.
