When the school?s sports awards get stolen from the sports pavilion the whole school is gripped by attention. A certain student called Jim Thompson, suddenly, to his horror, discovers himself in the middle of it all. The news is kept confined within close circles, but seems bound to come out soon. Caught up between his sports passion, burglary, and betting loss Jim is perplexed, but is not the only one in the school in trouble. The story swings through different student?s points of views and presents a bizarre situation. But one certain student finds out the hiding spot of the pots even before the arrival of the professional detective, and along with it, finds himself in the most awkward of positions. Caught up between sports action, a confounding burglary and a school magazine publishing secret group of students, the tale, although a conventional school story, is unique in its very own way. All in all, this attention-grabbing story is an immensely interesting read that would delight any youngster.
