The widow of a spy proves to her late husband?s cadre that the female of the species is far more deadly. Since the days of William the Conqueror, England?s reigning monarch has appointed a quartet of advisors to the crown. The appointment is for life. Chosen from the best and brightest of the aristocracy, the candidates must be cunning (as a Cobra), circumspect (as a Falcon), courageous (as a Lion) and clever (as a Fox). These advisors are known as the Royal Four. They protect and defend the throne by any means necessary. When the time comes, each member of the Royal Four trains an apprentice.
