The Dream Hunter
(Sherrilyn Kenyon)
Dreams are a wonderous place to be, and no one knows better than the dream-hunting characters of Sherrilyn Kenyon's newest novel ?"The Dream Hunter". Megeara Saatakis wished only to clear her father's name aftera series of mishaps took most of her family from her. Her father's constant and fervent search for the ancient underwater city of Atlantis had made him the laughing stock of the entire anthropological community. After finding evidence that her father's research had actually located the sunken city, Megeara sets off to bring her father's Dreams to fruition. Arikos, a skoti dream hunter who feels no emotions except in the realm of dreams, finally finds a human who's dreams are vivid and wildly imaginatve enough to incite his emotions. Her name, Megeara Saatakis. Arik will give anything to be with his chosen human after spending so many nights in her dreams, laying between her luscious thighs without reserve. Making a deal with a god never ends well for the one who happens to be doing the bargaining. Arik knows this, and yet he can't help but go against his own common sense. Arik bargains with Hades, God of the Underworld, so that he may be human for a short period of time. Arik rushes into the deal before hearing all the terms, and is duped into collecting a human soul for his time on Earth. It can't be just any soul. It must be Megeara's. After being sent flailing into the Aegean sea directly in the path of Megeara's research boat, Arik is fished out naked and unconscious. Once on board, Arik is determined to make the very suspicious Megeara his, and he only knows one way to her heart; through her research. After begging the city officials for a great length of time, Megeara had still not been awarded her permits to excavate on the site of Atlantis. Seeing this as the perfect opportunity, Arik calls in a favor to his brother-cousin Solin, the multi-billionaire demigod. Permits in hand, Arik begins to win Megeara over. Little does she know about the danger that lay underneath the rolling tide.
