Continuous Conversation Club

Well tonight I start up on a book by SM Thompson ... poems long and short,
happy and sad, good and better still enjoyed by many and shared with the
few.
I sent out a few of these new booklets and found that the return was
simply amazing. Professional colleagues, friends and family were
quick to comment on the booklet: Continuous Conversation Club
in such glowing terms that I do declare I was positively delighted
with the response I have so far received.
I have chosen a few poems to engage with the nitty gritty of writing as follows ...
Secret Garden: is broken up into four line stanza form and begins in a school room
a good way to begin any poem, I guess and continues right through the session.
Makes one feel like an E.A.P. Sessional Lecturer again, but let me draw
your attention to the final lines of the last stanza ... as follows ..
Nano pays up
Everyone takes fright - what a sight!
Engage, be not afraid ... another one is ...
Second Husband ...
Today every woman I meet is either considering a Second husband or has
already acquired one. So far I am in the minority ... I have yet to
acquire a second husband. The idea caught my imagination and I
thought it worthy of poetic ponderings as follows ...
Try to love again ...
Matter of fact its just right ...
Risk it for a biscuit ...
