Don?t you understand why Professor Dumbledore trusted me so much in spite of so many evidences that you brought against me. When the Dark Lord returned during the chamber of secrets time, Dumbledore suspected him of having used Horcruxes. I was rather sure. During your fourth year when the Dark Lord finally materialized, I returned to him telling tales that I had been spying on Dumbledore and proved my loyalty my telling him many secrets including the prophecy and its exact location in the Ministry of Magic. No wonder I gained his confidence but not entirely. And after what happened at the ministry, the Dark Lord made a plan to kill Dumbledore. Last year he entrusted Malfoy with this task, I kept spying on Malfoy at Narcissa?s request and Dumbledore?s orders.
