Harry?s sixth year at Hogwarts unfolded many secrets- secrets about Voldemort?s Horcruxes wherein he had ripped apart his soul to become invincible, about the half- blood prince who was none other than Snape- Snape who acting on Voldemort?s side ruthlessly killed Dumbledore. Harry Potter is now left all alone in this world with no one but his friends Ron and Hermione. After leaving Hogwarts, he stays with the Dursleys for the last time as promised to Dumbledore. Thereafter he goes to Ron?s place to attend the wedding of Bill and Fleur and on his birthday, he leaves for Godric?s Hollow to visit his parents? graves. Ron and Hermione accompany him everywhere he goes. Darkness has slithered in and spread evenly on the graves. Harry hasn?t uttered a word since this afternoon, he has been rather gazing at the graves of Lily and James Potter. There has been a long and uncanny silence.Hermoine : Harry.Ron : Harry. Look here.Harry : (with utter gloom and gravity of voice) Ron. Hermoine. I am feeling very lonely. Whoever I have loved, be it Mom or Dad, Sirius or Dumbledore, they have all left me. (Laughing within himself) I couldn?t even get the love of Cho or Ginny. Attachment to someone isn?t in my fate. I?m tired of this life. Today, on my birthday the charm that had been protecting me lifts off, Voldemort will be coming anytime to watch me dying. I can see a dark twisted path and my imminent end.Hermione : (Lost for words) Look Harry, you?Harry : (interrupting) Let me speak Hermione. All I know is that I am destined to fight this battle all alone. I realised this after Dumbledore left us. You know what, when I heard about the prophecy, I was pretty confident that the survivor between Voldemort and me would be me because I always saw the world?s greatest wizard, Dumbledore beside me. But now all my hopes are shattered. I am not that optimistic about my final battle with Voldemort, I really doubt if I would be able to defeat him.Hermione : Harry, I do understand what you have been going through at this time. Harry you will have to show courage and strength. Retrospect Harry, whenever you encountered Voldemort you have never had to face him alone, someone has always been with you. When you were one, it was your mother?s sacrifice. During your first year at Hogwarts, it was your mother?s love and Dumbledore. And then during the chamber of secrets time fawkes came to your rescue. And when Voldemort returned it was your parents who created that fog. At the ministry, Dumbledore and your friends fought by your side. This shows Harry that you are not destined to fight this battle alone. The next time you encounter Voldemort, if not Dumbledore it would be his trust and Ron and me by your side. (Her vexation adds on) Harry analyze for yourself, you are falling into Voldemort?s trap. You know why he made sure that Dumbledore was killed before he attempted at you? To break you from within, so that you lose all hope. Harry don?t forget what Dumbledore had said, You Have The Power to Love, let your ability to love remain alive.Ron : Harry, you have no reason to feel lonely, you always have Ron Weasly and Hermoine Granger by your side. Harry you have the entire wizard community of millions whose hands rise everyday in prayer that Harry Potter, the boy who lived, lives and defeats the evil.Harry : That?s what I fear Ron, what if I am not able to do so, what will happen to those million hearts. You two are my last loved ones. I would never be able to forgive myself if anything happens to you. I won?t be able tolive. And so I am insisting again, let me undertake this journey alone. You two leave for a safe place. I would be happy that at least someone I love is alive and really, I would be able to face Voldemort better.Hermione: (much disturbed) Harry, what has happened to you? Did you hear a word I said just now? Did it make any sense to you? Harry, don?t do this. You are crushing your own will power. Do you ever realize if we will be able to live if something happened to you and we aren?t there with you. Only just now you so said that you are feeling lonely. Won?t you feel even more lonely if you ?last loved ones? desert you too.
