The pocketbook will be read in the car and, little by little, will reveal a fantastic history.The destiny of three baker generation, a Magic Island where live fabulous creatures and a Purple Drink, incredibility, they are directly related to Hans-Thomas?s life.Jostein Gaarder wrote a narrative that mixes Grecian myths, family?s curses, castaways and spirited pack of cards. It is a fascinating reading. It instigates the reader to discovery all the book mysteries. The story starts speaking about divorce, subject common in the last decades, but it changes when the philosopher and his son, start the travel. During the travel, the author introduce a history (with Hans?s little book) in the history. The double stories, in an intelligent manner, are related. A mix with fairy tales and real life that will answer questions about character?s past and future. Jostein wrote a book; undoubtedly, gets catch the reader attention, and cause emotion with story facts. Besides, for attentive reader, Joker?s behavior is a Philosophy introduction.
