* "Kabir laments and weeps with tearful eyes while watching a chaki grinding grains to powder and he associates everything in the world with these grains;grinded to the end;like will everything else".* Chakki is a hand made machine consisting of two rounded heavy stones of equal size and weight, placed one above the other, with a whole in the center through which passes a rounded wooden plank securing the two stones on the base / platform (usually earth). The upper stone has another hole to which a wooden handle is fixed for moving it around.* Grains:kabir means seeds of eatable crops like wheat.* Chalti chakki:grains are poured around the wooden plank from above,in the whole through which wooden plank passes. This whole has sufficient space for pouring grains around the plank.A powdered form of grains comes out from the space between stones* Dekh kar : on looking at.* Roye : weeps/laments/eyes filled with tears.* Dui paatan ke beech mein : here it means;in-between the two stones.* Sabit bacha na koye : no grain escapes from being grinded to powdered form.
