This year aunt saw strange things happening there. People who live nearby the ranch tell stories of it being haunted once and believe that it might be the ghost of Richard Foster who had died under strange circumstances in a shipwreck. Aunt isn?t superstitious but last night she saw the same ghostly figure herself and ????Mr. James wants her daughter to solve the case for her dear sister.? came a voice from behind the curtains.All the girls turned around to find Mrs. Egalan Dunns standing with Madrid stew and hot foaming coffee in the tray.?Thank you so much mom for this??smiled Anna and the girls joined her on the table. It was 8:00 am and Anna finished up tiding her room when her maid Josie arrived and helped her arrange her baggage in the car. Mr. Dunns cam to bid her daughter adieu while Egalan advised Anna to be careful.?Oh mama don?t worry about me. I?ll manage.? smiled Anna.?Yes?and I?ll see to it that she doesn?t skip her meals.? added Lisa. Foster ranch was a five hour drive from Reagle farm. On the way to the ranch Kate took the rear seat with her parrot Robbin while Lisa steared the wheel with Anna by her side.?Anna?.what type of ghosts are there on the ranch?? asked Kate.?I can?t say?.we?ll have to get at least one experience with them.? chuckled Anna munching her chocolate.?Ghosts always create trouble.But it would be great to help your aunt.? added Lisa.?Indeed?and we?ll havea great time too. Aunt Molina will be delighted to see all of us and Robbin will have a great time too!?cried Kate but stopped short seeing Lisa?s jovial expression from the rear view mirror. Both burst into laugher and didn?t care about the parrot who seemed to flutter and came out of the unlocked cage. The bird got frightened and flew towards the driver?s seat disrupting Lisa?s vision. The sudden disturbance horrified Lisa so much that she let go off the stearing hiding her face between her hands. Just ahead of them came a huge lorry loaded with heavy iron rods.The lorry was now a few yards away from the swaying car and within a few seconds the three girls would be crushed under it?s weight.! anu sood 30 yrs INDIA
