Dust was kicked up around the ankles of the warriors and the horses as the men thrashed around their weapons largely with little or no skill at all, just desperation, just attempting with all their might to do the most amount of damage possible to their many opponents without themselves being wounded. At this stage the screams of pain and anguish were many and the scarring sight of bloodshed and that of a grown man crying was being firmly imprinted on every mans mind as gradually the stronger of the two forces become apparent. The year was 197AD, ancient China, the battle of Xi Castle and the forces of the great Zhou Tai were on the verge of victory. The castle was now surrounded and Zhou tai?s heart almost skipped a beat as he finally allowed himself to even contemplate the thought of him actually possessing the seal of his ancestors, this was his purpose in life, he was meant to have this, he was meant to use its power to rule the whole of China. It had slipped through his fingers once before, almost five years to the day when his evil half brother Sam Titcombe had stolen it. That day he lost everything that was important to him. He finally discovered why he and Sam had grown apart over the previous few years, unbeknown to Zhou Tai, Sam had all but completed his transaction to the dark side, thinking that their father was holding him back and oppressing his abilities in combat because he was afraid. That day, the day that the rule of China was to be passed down to Zhou tai, Sam seized his opportunity to take the seal, slaughtering the family and taking the seal to rule over China with an iron fist of total control and tyranny. He exiled Zhou tai and left him with nothing but a scar on the left cheek, murdering all of his most loyal of followers. With this image praying on his troubled mind Zhou Tai dismounted his faithful steed Hex Mark and with one beautiful, skilful, fluid yet deadly movement he unsheathed his sword. The enemies of China knew this sword to be named The Dawn. It was a marvellous display of the knowledge and understanding that the Chinese had of the human anatomy as this sword was crafted in such a way that it would inflict the maximum amount of damage, and inflict the maximum amount of pain in any situation conceivable, against any opponent. With this mighty weapon fully outstretched to his right-hand side in the style of Chi Qong; the martial art that Zhou Tai had developed and practised entirely by himself in his exile and was now the only living master of. It is a combination of acrobatics and swordplay, he was planning to take on a student to pass down his style of fighting to when this was all over so that future generations could appreciate its difficulty. . .and rewards. This in mind, Zhou tai began to sprint towards the front line where his men where almost broken through the castle gates. He was a mere fifty feet from the gates and the spirits of his men were high when the gates flew open. . . . . . . .
