There are many things that i learned by reading this book. As a teenage girl and just getting in to college, i am begining to see what they are talking about in this book. Now i would be wrong to say that i know what they were going through because i dont. Then when life was a privlage and death a nesessaty. Where gangs were everything and when you betrayed your people you got killed, thats just the way things went. But many things can be learned from Erin Gruiwell the teacher from room 203 that had something to say and everything to teach. Her determination in the classroom and heart for the young men and women that she taught was unconditional. She broke down the bariors of the color of your skin and your people, she let them feel like there was a bigger purpose in the world. She taught them that life is worth living if you fight for it and if you just give people a second chance then maybe, just maybe you will see that we are all worth it.
