Elephants are considered as the largest animals in the bush or forest.Elephants are of great importance to conutries like Thailand,Philipines...These animals(Elephants)are very important for touristic purposes since their species are disappearing day-in day-out.Reserves have been created in some countries and together with other animals,elephants are used in cirques,parks and for traditional basis like camping,traveling long dsitances.
In cameroon,there exist a great variety of this animalsat the Waza National park in the northernprovince .This park has attracted many tourists from around the world to visit and see for themselves the natural atmosphere that Africa still has.The cameroon government is trying its best to revitalise the tourism sector to encourage tourist to visit.Infact,elephants and Lions still remain the mean attractionfor tourist in Cameroon and not forgetting Côte d'Ivoire(a west African country).You are welcome to cameroon.
Elephants are very large animals and very much admired by tourists or,even by people in general.Its size,the way it cries,it heavy movement are qualities that please people.That notwithstanding,elephants possess a great means of income to local authorities.Apart from the fact that it is use for touristic purposes,some of its parts a commercialise and are very expensive.For instance,its ivories are used for the production of bangles,rings and other crafts.Nowadays,many legislations have been put in place to protect the hunting of elephants in cameroon so as to maintain certain species.That is why zoos and parks have been created for that reason.
