This book has so many tricks you will stop what you are reading and read it over again just to make sure you read it correctly. It is full of mysteries and suprises it will make you stop and go no way! The main point of the book is too get rid of the evil Shadowlord who has slowly and cruely destroyed the land of Deltora until nothing was left not even the thought of hope. In the first series of Deltora Quest Lief, Barda, and Jasmine set out on an journey which is a hair next to the impossible. Years ago the Shadowlord destroyed the Belt of Deltora and scattered its seven gems across the land of Deltora, but they were scattered in areas that no one dares enter for the places only bring death. Now the three companions set out on a journey to recover each and every gem to save the land of Deltora and restore the belt which is the only hope of survival. In the second series they must retrieve all three parts of the Pirran Pipe which is so pure and good just the sound of it will counter the Shadowlord and make him cringe, but on this adventure they will have to make many sacrifices and discover for themselves who are the liars and deceivers. And in the last series they must go on one last final quest to destroy the Four Sisters which is poisoning Deltora, but in the end they will uncover the truth behind everything they have ever done and destroyed, and with one last battle they must fight for everything they hold dearly and have fought for.
