The art has an enormous power to convince... and also to fool. They are so many, the writers and movie directors that make use of its valuable abilities to tell what is real. However, there is a lot of them that only intend to manipulate the masses. The book and the recent movie The Davinci Code belongs to this last cathegory, endangering laymans with its combination of mysteries, fake eruditeness, fake history, conspitaroy theory and, first of all, constant deliberating lies about catholicism and God´s words. In one word, tell evident lies under the "fiction" mask, taken by the objective of put in the reader´s mind the conviction that "everything our parents taught us about Christ is fake". fiction is good when doesn´t put the truth in check. Fiction is evil and perverse when told with the purpose of telling lies. And the answer for such a fraud is always the same: the truth. The Davinci Code say we are supposed to "seek for the truth". The catholics have no fear of this exortation..., and, the prove of this is the book that is in our hands. Because we are sure about Jesus' truth, the represantation of God down in earth, whose voices speak in all ages, assuring us that, if we stand in my words, you shall be my disciple, will know the truth and the truth shall make you free (jo 8, 31-32)
