Pottermania seems to have caught the world napping! And this is yet another exciting tale from Rowling with a twist at the end, that makes one's day. It all starts when Harry gets an old Potions book belonging to some former Half-Blood prince, using the instructions of which he learns new spells both fantastic and gruesome and which helps him top his Potions class with some reverse instructions as opposed to normal books. Severus Snape plays a key part in this and finally..................i might say reveals his true colours at the end. Lord Voldemort makes a strong comeback as the most evil wizard with his faithful Death Eaters and surprisingly, Draco Malfoy has to fill in place of his errant father and complete a task assigned to him by Lord Voldemort, his life depends on it. Of course, Harry and Dumbledore play their parts in fighting evil and there are lots of fantastic sequences, and lots of fights with Death Eaters and of course, life at Hogwarts takes on a new turn here with a full fledged battle. And the end twist will leave readers fascinated yet sad, which I won't reveal. In all, a must read for it's lucidity. And quite safely, the best Harry Potter book so far from Rowling. The depths of this story will shock you, they will absorb you into the book. And of course, Ginny and Harry (guess?!), lots of Quidditch, Ron, Hermione, All of Harry's friends from the previous years DA, and all our loved teachers and characters make a strong comeback on this one. A fantasy tale like no other, Rowling has surpassed expectations with this one. This book will take to heights of imagination you wouldn't have dreamed of. So I will conclude by saying that this is a fantastic book. If you haven't read it, you don't deserve to live! As simple as that.
