Readers of this book will find 86 beautifully craftedessays written with no room for a contary opinion, very sharp, well reasearched and very very funny.Every subject from David Beckham to the state of world politics are covered, he explores such diverse subjects as "Jackboots rule the countryside" to "Custard, my wifes worse swearword" and the same recurring themes from volume 1 such as how men with beards should be shot, the mistakes made by his Tonyness (Tony Blair) etc still appear and really do add to an excellent volume.
This book should be dipped into whilst laying on sunbed by the pool, read at home on days when the boss has picked on you just for smiling, last thing before going to bed after a hard day when the cat was sick on the children or indeed whever you need an instant pick me up of solid, consistant, topical, cutting,grumpy humour.
