While she is settling in the aisles of the store as her and her unborn babies new home, the man who dumps her finds himself traveling alone to California. Thinking he is rid of her and any hassles, Willy Jack finds that his trouble has just begun. Finally, after accepting his down trodden luck, Willy jack decides to head back to the Wal-Mart that he had left Novelee at, seven years previously. On the way back he ends up too drunk to pull himself out of the way of a train and loses his legs. If that weren't enough, his wheelchair is stolen and he is left in a rest stop bathroom. Shocked to find him in a hospital only a few towns away, Novelee decides to comfront the man she has learned to hate. Yet instead he helps her to find out that hiding the way she feels can only lead to more hurt.
