(Diane Setterfield)

Publicidade
This is a Jane Eyre inspired Sherlock Holmes entailed entralling episode of adventure and mystery. Every page brings a new delight and a new detail is brought into the story. It is a magnificent weaving of tales and spider webs with elements for the keen mind and vivid imaginer. Not to mention of course the common bookworm. The focus is on a story loving biographer Margaret and the famous story teller Vida Winter and how their lives are so incredibly different and yet the few things they have in common cause them to grow remarkably close as Ms. Winter tells the story of her life without actually telling it. And how a biography can turn mystery and romance all at once is anamazing testimony to the remarkable talents of the author. Margaret was born as a conjoined twin, who feels the tremendous loss of her sister throughout her entire life as her mother was never the same after the tragedy. This is a testimony to all the hard ships that can befall a mother a woman and sisters, and how joyful life can be even after the devasting loss of some one so loved even if they aren't truely gone.
