"Mach on the corner" is a novel wriiten by Krystyna Siesicka. It's a book for young people. The story is about a girl- Magda who is 15 years old and older boy- Marcin. They meet each other on holidays in Osada- small town. Magda comes there with her mother and sister every holidays, so she knows people who live there. Besides that she knows people who like her come there for holodays. Some day Magda noticed Marcin, boy whom she has never seen there before. Marcin is very handsome, good looking and grave, what makes him interesting. She finds way for knowing him better. By the time Magda is engageing herself to that relationship. She moves away from her old friends and Marcin is getting better, and better in her eays. She is interested in him because of his mysteriousness, gravity and reserve. Magda is spending with him a lot of time, she is trying to get to know him better. Slowly between them is ariseing sensitive, breakable feeling. At the end of holidays Magda's mother express her dissatisfaction about meeting her daughter with Marcin. Boy's mother doesn't want him to meets Magda any more, too and she takes Marcin to Warsaw erlier than it was planed. Young friends decide not to stay in touch. After their home-comming they really don't meet but some autumnal day they meets on the bus stop. Days goes by and Magda still thinks about Marcin. When she comes back home some day she meets him on her way and boy accosts her by stupid lady killer's text. Magda gets angry about it, but when Marcin confesses that he was waiting especially for her the anger goes away. Since that moment they started to meet regulary and by the time they becomes couple. Magda keeps it in secret, specially from her mother. By the time she invites him to her home. After months Magda finds out that her boy didn't pass the high school exams because of problems with alcohol, the police and that he has got curator. What is the worst she finds it out not from her own boyfriend. Dissapinted and agitaded girl decides to break off with all of relations with Marcin. Boy goes to his old girlfriend's grandmother- Ms Emilia, who is in very good relationship with Magda and he gets a specific "absolution". Work ends in that way that the rider can freely imagine what happen next.
