Map Of Bones
(James Rollins)

Publicidade
Not another Da Vinci is the first thought that comes to the reader's mind as soon as the story starts relating to Vatican. Well here we have Vatican yet again but this time dealing with the bones of the Magi and thankfully without a hint of Dan Brown anywhere. This novel is scripted in pure unadulterated James Rollins style very much with the Sigma force thrown in to combat the Dragon Court, a secret organization threatening to capture and unleash the most forbidden power on the human civilization. The story takes off with the theft of the bones of the biblical Magi along with an unexplained mass electrocution of devotees at Cologne. The cause of electrocution could be traced to an extremely inert and superconducting m-state or monatomic state of Gold - consumed as part of the Communion bread. This is where the race starts - to discover the reason for the theft and then to outrace the Dragon Court to prevent the greatest power from falling into the wrong hands. The race across countries with the Sigma force and Dragon Court trying their best to outwit each other is the major highlight of the novel. Rollins narration is well paced and he manages to create the reader's interest alive till the very end. The final outcome is again pretty much typical of Rollins with the lead characters under gun point in perhaps the most impossible situation but still manage to get out unscathed.Overall the novel is a good and a must for any James Rollins fan.
