Given below is arecipe of tasty sprouts. 1-- Tasty Soya Beans.Ingredients. 1 red soya beans-150 grams. 2. onions-4. 3 coriander seeds-1 tablespoonful 4.pepper1. 5. cummin seeds 1 tablespoonful. 6 sesame seeds 1 teaspoonful. 7 . coconut-<-diabetics do not exercise the option-avoid coconut> 3 tablespoonful 8. mustard seeds1 teaspoonful 9. edible oil < gingelly oil > 2 tablespoonful. 10 cloves 3. 11. cinnamon stick one inch long. 12. gooseberry 1 13. lime and salt to taste. 14. red chilly.1 . 15. green chilly 2 16 one tiny pinch of jaggery.Method .1. soak the Beans overnight and allow them to sprout by keeping the soaked beans in a fine bundle made of cotton fabric. watch carefully for the sprout and dont allow it to be wet for a long time in the bundle. this will cause an unpleasant odour if it sprouts for a long time. tiny sprouts are enough.2. pressure cook them till they are soft . 3drain the water completely, and add a pinch of salt and keep this aside.. 4. take one onion, ingredients 3.4,4,5,6,7,12,14,15.and grind these to a thick undiluted coarse paste.Take a pan and add the oil to it . when it is heated . add powdered cinnamon, the cloves , mustard and after the mustard splutters add3 finely chopped onions and fry this to a transparent colour . add the ground paste and fry < without burning it to a dark colour> carefully till the mixture is half-cooked and a nice aroma would emanate as soon as the requisite salt is added.now add the cooked . salted soya to this and stir carefully for 5 minutes.add the pinch of jaggery and mix thoroughlyDressing; one finely chopped onion , plenty of finely chopped ,fresh coriander ,a bit of dessicated cocoonut and sprinkle the final product with drops of lime.BENEFIT ---1High fibre content and protein .2 gooseberry is of tremendous medicinal value.--even in small quantities.
