A Nanny's Diary
(Nicolas Kraus, Emma McLaughlin)

Publicidade
This book is about a young woman incentivized by the childish character which she carries as a woman and that takes her to fulfill the task of a 4-year-old-boy's nanny. Her goal is to keep her income and her life to finnish her studies. With a schedule of about 30 hours in the beginning, she ends up by working tripling - for acting, not little Grayer's nanny, but his mother. He is looked at as a ornament by his real parents, an ornament to use when they will, to engage thoughts about the father's past infidelity, to chat upon on their absences, and that is why they lean on the nanny for support on compensating their carelessness. Nanny is in her turn brought amidst a family which does not grant her the deserved value and that puts her in a role, not of a professional, but of a pet do-it-all. Hence, she is confronted with a premature child, a romance with her Harvard passion, her studies and her family help, family that never missed with what money can not achieve, what little Grayer wishes more than nice suits and soy meals: Love. Romina R. Ramos (original author).
