Resumo de Martha And Paul - Rebekah Singleton

Once upon a time there lived an old couple named Martha and Paul. They lived way out in the country, pretty far away from the road. The old man named Paul was paralized. The woman named Martha was sick and could not go any where. The old couple had a nurse and she would fix their food and clean for them because they couldn't get around to doing that kind of stuff. The nurse got sick and could not work for them any more so their house got pretty nasty. Luckily, there ws this lovely young little girl who always came to visit them every day at 10:00 am. So sence they could not do any thing they told that little girl to pay the bills with the money that came in the mail when they got a check. The check only held 500 dollars in it with both of their checks put together. They didn't use the light when they didn't need it and they didn't use any power like water, lights, stove, ect...., because they didn't want to have to due money on any thing. The groceries they didn't have to buy. The church they use to go to when they were able brings them groceries every week to last that whole week and the girl would pay the bills with that money.One day she decided to take some of that money that was left after paying the bills and she went and used it on a bunch of candy for herself. She brought the candy to the old couples house and she said "look at all of my candy".Martha said to the little girl, "why that is alot of candy where did you get the money for that"? The little girl replyed and said, " my mommy gave mesome money to go and get some candy".That day she left knowing that she had lied to Martha and Paul. She feltso bad about it and the nextday that the little girl had came by with he feeling so bad, she had heard that Paul the old man had died and shefelt so bad and she started to cry. Theold woman Martha, asked her what was wrong and said, "what is wrong my dear"?The little girl replied in a pouting voice and siad, "it was me". "What was you"?, repliedMartha. "It wasme I was the one who took the left over money". Said the little girl in tears. "I didn't know there was any left over money"? saidMartha."I know but, I...I am sorry for taking themoney". Martha replied and said " well you know what, your gonna pay", and in the blink of an eye..... the woman did nothing. The little girl ran outside and ran all the way home and told her mom and her mom said that she would have to pay the woman back for whatthe little girl had done so she went back to Martha's house and gave her the money and apolajised and theMartha said, " that is okay, I am glad you told me though instead of just taking the money without ever telling me"."Well I shouldn't have done that anyway", said the little girl. "I am getting a little oldernow and I have hired you another nurse so I hope you can deal with that for a little while but I will visit you atleast every month now so the nurse will be here tomarrow she is real young I think you will like her", said little girl which now is a young ladie. It turns out now that the nurse that theyoung ladiehired was her mom and they both got alond very well. They lived hapily ever after!
