Well, you have read about it in the Press ... seen it on the telly and now its time to find out more about ... A Guide to State Pensions ... I thought, rather than go through it a page at a time I would briefly summarize it as follows ...
It tells you how much you must pay HM Government ... it explains your National Insurance Contributions Scheme which is broken up into several divisions ... it discusses what you can do with your money and it enforces the British Governments view of YOU.
You will be given a brief letter every ten days about 10 years before enforced retirement ,,, and say, for example, you are as I was 48 years old ... HM Government will send you a sterling reminder that you must plan for retirement. Well, you might say, you dont plan on retirement at all .. and nobody not even OUR LORD in heaven says you gave to give up living in order to fulfil HM Governments State Retirement Pension Rules.
Well, then about 5 years before your 55 birthday you will receive daily bulletins on:
How much they owe you: How much you own them When to collect: How to collect What to do with your cheque when you receive it: How to bank it ... How to save up:
and afterwards upon your 60 birthday ... you will be reminded every day that you are now receiving the State Retirement Pension Pay Cheque from HM Government ... which will be yours as long as you shall live on planet earth.
Then through your mail box will appear a new HANDBOOK entitled: A Guide to State Pensions... you are requested to read this carefully and certain key phrases will need some clarification from Whitehall in London such as ...

Yes is the answer Can I continue to teach: Yes to that Can I continue to write: Yes probably about themes or poems or whatever you write about anyway Can I move away:Yes, the sooner the better Can I live near family: Please do it asap .... providing you fulfil our guidelines Can I take my money to Europe: Yes ... but you cannot take your benefits that you have worked all your life to earn ... so IF YOU DO ... on your own head be it.

I can work OVERSEAS ... only announced today by HM Government London Downing Street, London England. ... I wonder if I should refer to my GUIDE BOOK as just deal with the "Oral" .... after all I examine in both written and oral English ...
