The letter Q is an amazing book, an extraordinary drama about two completely different people who have never met, enemies, that happen to find out that there is an especially strong bond between them. A bond that changes their lives and relationship, a bond that cannot exist and that society condemns yet that neither of them can escape. This is a story that begins with the ending of the second world war.Ya'akovBrunstien, surviver of camp Berenborg, escapes from the camp and on the way sees the remains of a brigade that was bombed from the air. From the car that exploded he sees a man and woman's lifeless body. The bodies of the head of the camp and his wife. Suddenly errupts a baby's cry from inside the car. Ya'akov sees the baby and remembers his baby and wife that were taken from him, that died at the camp, and decides to take in the baby, adopt him, raise him, and take care of him. He swore to himself that no one would ever know the horrible secret that this baby carries. The narrater tells of Ya'akov and his son, Micheal's life, whom he raised as a jew, who's life he saved and did everything for. Nobody knew that Nazi blood flowed through him. Not even MIchael. His secret was kept his whole life until one fatal meeting changes his life and the other person's life, forever. The israeli society does not accept him, since he occupies a central and important role. The Israeli society is ungrateful towards him, after everything he did for the country. MIchael is caught in an emotional storm which he can't get out of. This human drama is surprising more and more with each passing chapter....
