Due Di Due

We are in Milan, in the mid-1970s. In those years in the West and in many country of East spira a revolutionary wind. Years characterized from an impetuous develompment: the wealth is increased, but in the same times the difference between rich and poor countries have been emphasized and inside of the first the difference between the social categories has grown. The well-being produce thin and penetrating alienation, of which all aren?t aware of this, but this produce a sence of discomfort and restlessness. From this point start any situation of slight illness, perceived at first from the young people, they need to rebel at the word parents which pretend to impose own principles and plain their future. Young people want to say stop it hypocritical, formalist and egoist way to be. The student protest is expressed through occupation of university, scools, factories; processions and square demonstrations, in the course of which often there are clash with police enforcement. When Mario and Guido, the two protagonist, tell theirs partecipation at any processions, the reader can?t be enthusiastic as well as they. Who want to ready "Two of two" it must have presente this situation because this is not only a story of any friendship, but especially for two various personality with the same wish of estrange at the mechanical truth of the modern Italy. Guido Laremi, rebelliuos and outside from the norms, many have definished he like the most beautiful character in the italian literature of last ten year, legitimate for the fact he is a person with exceptional charisma. Mario, is a protagonist and the ego narrator in this event, he is dragged from the volcanic enthusiasm of Guido but with the time he will succeed to exit from he?s shadow and will find a stable equilibrium with the world, far away from the pollute city, from that reality that in order to much time has had he victim and foreign. Important are especially the encounter, by now irregular, between the two: they are continuous source of renewal for both.
