A lady property tycoon who rose from rags to riches with the guidance of experienced people from the building trade who wanted her to succeed in life. They were impressed with her intelligence, keenness to learn and above all by her open nature.On the way up she comes across an older man who helps her out when her projects get bogged down with unions unfriendly attitude and later she is warned of his mafia connections.There are three men in her life who shape her destiny as she goes along. A friend who sticks to her loyally steers her clear of many pitfalls unknown to her. The man whom she marries is wedded to his profession just like her and their married life is spent over the phone as they are always at different places.The mafia friend does not take any kindly to this new arrangement and puts stumbling blocks which bring her business to ruins. Just in time she understands who and what controls her life and carrier and finally finds peaceful married life minus her career and that of her husband's. A tragic end to a well built career on the vagary oh the unsympathetic stars indeed!
