The date of the Nautanki was decided soon, and the oversized handbills were printed with Gulab's photo(dancing pose) as Menaka. Who else could do the role of Menaka, in the Nautanki play titled, "The Sage who humbled Menaka's vanity." Menaka, in this play, dares to dance naked before the Sages!Tota Seth was surprised to see in the handbill, the photo of Meru Pahelwan also, driving the tractor. But he understood! He was not a practising polkitician, but he had the benefit of their association. He was happy that this year, the Nautanki would be a grand event. Meru Pahelwan had succeeded in persuading the first lady District Collector Mathura ever had, to be the Chief Guest and inaugurate the show. She was aware of the fame of Gulab. She too was curious to see her and her performance.
