A Murder Is A Trifle

In a compartment Luke meets an old lady who tells various stories about a murderer who kills everybody in the vicinity of their town and claims that it is pretty easy to do that as the perpetrator will not be even suspected of the crime. Luke does not believe her. Only until he reads about the death of the old women and another victim in a paper, he goes to the town to check it out. Luke is an ex-cop so he feels responsible for solving the case and finding the murderer. Once he gets to the town he fells in love with a married women. Strangely enough, everyone who does something unpleasant to her husband - dies. Miss Wasnflete is a very nice old lady that nobody would ever suspects of perpetrating a murder. She dreams of putting her ex- fiancé lord Whirfielda to jail for 8 murders which are, in fact, crimes that she committed herself. Luckily enough, Luke alongside with Bridget when they were about to be killed by her, and the whole blade was to be placed on the Lord who had a motif as his wife left him for another man?
