Nicholas Spencer was a marvellous man, opinion of all.
The loss of his wife, who died of a cancer, had given him the will to follow his father?s research on the development of an anti-cancer vaccine.
With force of charm and persuasion, he had joined together the needed funds and scientists, and created Pierre-Gen for this only purpose.
For the majority, its shareholders were people whose close relations were reached by the disease, putting to their last penny in what was their only hope to see them cure one day.
When the plane of Nicholas crushed, that the press reveals the disappearance of the totality of the funds of Pierre-Gen and that the vaccine is revealed being ineffective, all feel betrayed.
This so charming man had give false hope to so many people!
And as its body is not found, the public opinion deduces that he ran away with the money.
But Carley De Carlo, journalist and half-sister of Lynn, the second woman of Nicholas, cannot seem to believe in it.
She also put all that she had aside in the company, in memory of her son Patrick, who died at birth of a cardiac malformation.
She gets a large newspaper to let her inquire about the businessman, to find evidence of his innocence and to return hope and who knows, their money back to the shareholders.
And when somebody sets fire to the property of Nicholas Spencer, with Lynn inside, she is convinced to be on the good way.
