The explosvie document recently discovered on Mount Ararat (in Turkey) will relegate old authoritative texts to the tank of old wives' tales. My somewhat unconventional interpretation could irritate the reader, who might be inclined to think I am not serious. He should remember, then, that I am known as much for my irreverence as I am for my expertise in the area of paleobiology. Behind its ironic appearance, the following text hides a story with fantastic scientific implications! The gales announced by the Great Meteorologist were coming: increasingly violent winds roared like hungry beasts; heavy black clouds gathered, creating an hardened sky which ten thousand giants seemed to be beating furiously; apocalyptic lightning tore through the thick darkness, a massive battle pitting day against night; frenzied animals ran in all directions; the most solid buildings were carried off like straw bales ... and the men, the men! Bodies strewn or crushed, dismembered: lifeless puppets before the unleashed elements.
