The Saint Andrews Daily Missal, lists many popular and not so well known Saint days. St. John Baptist di Rossi, who spent his time on earth as a secular Priest in Rome helping the poor, died in A.D. 1764. He was cannonized by Pope Leo X111 in 1881. St. Juliana of Cornillon, a Virgin, lived in the Augustinian Monastery Mount Cornililon, near Liege in Belgium and her petition is the cause of the first celebration of Corpus Christi at the Diocese of Liege in AD 1247. Pope Urban 1V officially recognized the celebration and soon made it a perrenial one. She died at the age of 66 in 1259 and was cannonized by Pope Pius X1 in 1934. Her day is celebrated on April 6 and White Vestments are suggested. St. Thuribius of Mogrobejo, was a Bishop and Confessor. He was a Spaniard and worshipped God from his infancy. His day is celebrated on April 27 and White vestments are suggested. He was made (appointed) Archbishop of Lima, then landed in South America in 1581. He died on March 23 1606, having revitalized the faith of Catholics in Peru. St. Rita (Margarita) of Cascia, a Widow has her day celebrated on May 22. She lost, after having been married for eighteen years, her husband and her two sons to death. She died May 22, 1456. White Vestments are suggested for her day.
