Full Circle
(Ajay Jacob)

Publicidade
Seven, they say, is a complete number. But perhaps it takes three times seven for life to complete a full circle. Ajay Jacob has had an experience of life reaching a full circle as he turned twenty one, and he captures the journey of his soul through those twenty one years in poetry, in his collection of twenty one poems representing twenty one years of his life: Full Circle.

It begins with a world of dreams, but the reality of the darkened world rudely shakes one awake. But the hand of God,the lover of soul, is a gentle guide at the crossroads of life and as one travels in time in the world. Though life often imprisons one within the cellars of one's own making, the lover of the soul stands with arms wide open offering redemption. And one can only say thank you and apologize for the self-doubts and doubts on the truly loving one. Still, there are moments fear conquers one and the boy refuses to grow up. One courts mediocrity and gives in to voices within that drag in different directions. It becomes an uphill task to conquer the self-made fears and reach the paradise. But even after all the efforts, the feeling remains that one refuses to grow up fully. Then the final act that remains is a total surrender to the absolute lover of the soul who can heal the sometimes-fearful-sometimes-brave child within everyone. In this act of loving and passionate surrender, one's life comes a full circle.
