The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
(Douglas Adams)
Alright, it seems we have aproblem here. How should an abstract about such a book start?Hmmmm, let's see..... maybe something like that: People that lack sense of humour and who in addition forgot their towels should not buy or even open this book. For the lucky remainder of the population we've got some very good news actually. I have the honour to present you one of the greatest sci-fi humour books ever published. Ride on and enjoy a stimulating fantasy adventure through an intergalactic journey of an earthling into space and universe meeting beurocratic mechanisms far more greater than anything, even comparing to tesco queues. Arhtur Dent, the earthling, along with an outrageously funny set of characters including a two-headed king of the universe character and also a near genius human like but deeply depressed robot, explore alternative possible worlds in the universe of the author's head bringing up some extremely intelligent, humourous stories as a result. If you think Beckett's poetry sucks, just wait to read some vogon poetry. Beckett will be justified after that in front of your eyes. The easy part now, how to end such an abstract. It's very simple: Just buy the book.
