home after dark. The pursuer remains a mystery for the length of the book but his presence is always forefront on the page! The crash changes Pam's life as she flees through deep snow and cold to escape whomever is following close behind.
Waking up in the hospital with her husband by her side, Pam's world seems to have flipped upside down. She is confused and starts having memories and visions that are in the surreal. She can't differentiate from the here and the beyond. Pam begins seeing her previously murdered best friend, Lily, whom is trying to communicate with her as the book progresses. As the visions become more and more, so does the dilusions that seep into Pams marraige and threaten it's integrity. What is real and what isn't?
Pam starts hearing voices and receiving clues from other women who were found Dead or murdered, and whose murders have been so far unsolved. They're reaching out to her for help and Pam finds herself in the position of detective as the situation becomes more and more desperate for a conclusion.
Pam Gardner is a strong character, but you'll find you're own character weakening as she loses herself in the despair of the paranormal. Only those in the beyond can hold her up as she discovers the secrets in their messages and only then will she learn the true meaning of "second chances."
