How ignorant were people then when prophets then were coming out about foreseeing or predicting the coming of the messiah? If you showed them a pencil or ballpen and make it write, what would they say it is? If you were there then, and had an M-16 or an AK-47 then showed-off that you could do damage or kill many with it, would you not be a god to them? If you had a Polaroid camera or handycam then, shot pictures and showed it to them, will it be a miracle to them? Or, probably even a simple thing, alcohol you rub on your palm then light it with a hidden lighter on the other hand, will it be a miracle to them.
Were those chronicling the events during those times have a good understanding of what they see? They did not have the tools-of-the-trade to record live what they were seeing! In all probability, writings or records were mostly ?second-hand?, hearsay, rumor or just plain recollection and imagination of what one saw. Ancient people can then be compared to how ignorant are, just recently discovered lost tribes! Take a fully clad scuba diver with a spear gun into the midst of a recently discovered tribe. Watch how they would react and speak of the ?alien?.
Okay, so people of the more modern times interpreted those writings. If those who interpreted it were from 1000 A.D. or earlier, how ignorant were they compared to the present time? If those people were shown modern equipment, they would not even know what to make of it!
A deeper interpretation of ancient time records must be done just like what Erich von Daniken says in his book ?Chariots of the Gods?. If Erick von Daniken were as greedy as those born-again founders, and preached his closer truth to the bible interpretation, he might have more followers than all of them combined. We are in a period of ?realization? where some ?truths? before are no longer true.
Some television documentaries now predict that, in 50 to 100 million years from now, earth will be back to the age of dinosaurs, or worse. Is it not possible that in ancient times there were these outer space civilizations under that same threat? Were they then looking for another planet to inhabit? Were they inciting prophets to rebel against rulers so people would be killing each other giving them an opportunity to take over? They are not glib-tongued like some human beings that could create chaos in the entire world? Were Hitler and Hirohito not their last card?
Right now, other aliens might still be around because of unexplainable UFO sightings and huge crop-field markings. Why are there suicide bombers? Terrorist groups seem to proliferate! Not just as many people would strap themselves with explosives! Bacteria and virus evolve into resistant strains. Far more intelligent beings could do that! Are the miseries of human kind on health, the making of aliens? We still have probably 20 million years more, they might just have 2,000 years more. Just imagine AIDS. Aliens must have observed earth?s population grow. That?s the best way to eliminate human beings! Infect them with AIDS virus ? their desire for sex, whatever it be for - will kill them. Why is still there no cure for AIDS? The alleged origin of AIDS are from monkeys in Africa! Is that not quite ambiguous?
Erich von Daniken has a point. The question is, ?How well meaning are the aliens?? Is the bible interpretation made so we do not believe in aliens?
