Sonia Choquette was born into a psychic family, her mother being a psychic herself. She inherited her mother's gifts. As a child she became aware of spirits guiding her and learning more about them through her mother. She became aware that she was truly gifted when she can guess who was calling when the phone rings. She also felt very ill and saw in her mind what happenned before her mother was told that a friend of hers died suddenly. She got into trouble one day when she was able to read the mind of her teacher who wanted to give them spelling quiz. She told all her classmates and most of them did well and they told the teacher about her. She already started seeing people wanting some guidance even when she was only thirteen because of her mother telling people about her abilities.
