To Kill A Mockingbird
(Harper Lee)

Publicidade
This first and only novel by Harper Lee is a masterpiece. Using a child's perspective, she writes of history in the making. Civil rights and equality were unattained ideals during the time frame of this work. Those, who are easily offended by racist remarks, might want to refrain from reading. However, it possesses an excellent storyline and makes a remarkable character study of a slice of americana during a time frame of which we are not proud. Out of the mouths of babes, come hard questions that adults feared to ask yet, the ensuing wisdom is worth the discomfort. Sadly, we, the readers, and Scout find out how few wise people exist in our world.

Follow the adventures of Scout, Jem and Dill during their childhood and coming-of-age in the deep south.
