THE KONDOR FILE is a Novel of adventures based on true facts.
Although the personages and their incidents to seize the Kondor File, and the Document itself (that so well could have existed), are product of my imagination so readers can live dangerous adventures from the comfortable security of their favorite armchair, the essence of this history, the Argentinean-German Weaponry Emporium that would convert Argentina into the biggest Weapons exporter of the Third World (and it will never be known with which another purposes), was in powerful progress in the twilights of the 70s. decade, when an uninterrupted flow of weaponry projects coming from German Firms with rancid ancestry in that matter, began to disembark silently in Argentina. Ambitious Weaponry developments (unknown by the entirety of Argentine civilians and even for many military), took impulse in Army, Navy and Air Force, and in the powerful National Commission of Atomic Energy, controlled by the Navy...

Submarines Shipyard in Buenos Aires with Thyssen Nordseewerke GmbH. of Emden, to build the advanced Grand-Cruiser TR-1700 Submarine model in Argentine.

Río Santiago Shipyard for Missile Frigates MEKO-360 class, from Blohm+Voss.

Project POLYGON for Weapons & Ammo. Test Polygon in Patagonia for Heavy Weaponry and Missile. Klöckner and Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blöhm.

TAMSE Tanks Factory in San Martín, Buenos Aires. Thyssen-Henschel technology. Initially task was to adapt german LEOPARD Tank to Argentine topography, roads and bridges.

Advanced Trainer & Fighter IA-63 PAMPA by Dornier GmbH. Plan to develop an Interceptor with Taktik-Kampfflugzeug´90 technologies, in Cordoba Aircraft Factory.

Med-Range Cruise Ballistic Missile CONDOR-2. MBB-Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blöhm Missile, parts from Wegmann+CO. and M-A-N - Technologie AG. to its Transporter-Erector Launching Platform on a M-A-N truck. CONDOR-2 project was made by MBB Satellite-Firms established in Europe (but outside of Germany) The other CONDOR project partners were Egypt and Irak.

Nuclear Plants CANDU type (irradiated fuel of this kind of Plant is a source of fissile isotope Plutonium-239 by PUREX extraction method). KWU-Kraftwerk Union AG. -branch of Siemens AG.

Top-Secret Nuclear Bunker of Pilcaniyeu, a factory for Uranium enrichment.

Heavy-Water Plant (a moderator of nuclear reaction in CANDU Plants). Sulzer Co.

Ezeiza Atomic Center. Extraction Plant to obtain fissile isotope Plutonium-239.

CONDOR-2 Underground Factory in Córdoba. Built inside the mountain, by german Firms Kondor Projekt AG., Consen AG. and Alfred Fenneberg. High-tech laboratories & equipment for solid propellant, Missile navigation & guidance, ballistic testing, metallurgy, composite materials and electronic. Anti-explosion tight compartments. Electronic Counter-Measures posted inside the own Plant structure. US. CIA was highly interested to recognizing the Condor Plant, but only could did it after Raul Alfonsin´s Government arriving.

Second CIA Report, cited by German magazine Der Spiegel (that has uncovered Top-Secret Project POLYGON): <<The Argentineans run as greyhounds in Missile Technology>> -affirms-. <<Argentine Air Force already possesses in 1981 a type of Missile capable to transport Nuclear Warheads>>.
Third CIA Report: <<The secret facilities near Ezeiza Airport harbor a Plant for reprocessing nuclear fuel to Plutonium-239, a Laboratory of Nuclear Alloys and a Factory ccapable to produce Special Materials>>.

ARGENTINE NUCLEAR PLAN in fact existed, while Argentina refused to sign the NPT-Non Proliferation and Tlatelolco Treaties, neitheer the Régime of Safeguards from IAEA-International Atomic Energy Agency. This way, the US. Department of Energy had classified Argentina as a Sensitive Country, with the consequent reprisals. To that insurgency, was added the well-known unpredictable behavior of Argentineans -feared by Britons, North Americans and Israelis. Raúl Tomás, Undersecretary of Production for Defense in Alfonsín Government, said after finding out the existence of the CONDOR-2 and other secret projects: <<In that time, every day we opened a drawer and we met with a surprise, a Company that we didn't know that it existed: Pandora´s Box. Big visible industrial projects were ARGENTINE NAVAL PLAN , TAMSE , the IA-63 PAMPA , and we also had the CONDOR-2 Missile...>>.

In his Book THE SOUTH-AMERICAN ARSENAL OF SADDAM HUSSEIN, Rogelio García Lupo says that <<In the twilights of 70s. decade, German Government considered of top-level World-Strategic significance an invigoration of the Argentine Army. Bonn´s powerful man Hans-Dietrich Genscher gave, from Foreign Ministery, the basements to so particular opinion from himself ... About Genscher, argentinians took sensitive importance from the point of view of the Soviet Fleet presence in the South Atlantic. So, Genscher´s opinion had revitalized business in North Sea german Shipyards. Also, germans made projects to exploiting petroleum repositories in zone of Cabo de Hornos, and worked to quantificate the Antarctic natural resources & raw materials. In starting 80s. decade, Germans estimated that in the South Atlantic will take place large military conflicts in pursue to posess or control maritime crossroads and natural resources. They don´t expected that their argentine partner will take the initiative in the early conflict ...>>.
