The Originals...
This is a clever comic, in the style of the classic 'Mods and Rockers' conflict, but with a futuristic twist.
The style is excellent, simple black and white but very effective nonetheless.
The story is about a boy and his best friend, who get their wish to join the legendary Originals. A gang of Mods who ride hovers (floating scooters)
who have an ongoing war with the Dirt, a gang of bikers. All is going well, the main character is going up in the world and is getting everything he wanted.
But, as always, things turn sour, in a very convincing way. Brutal, yet truthful.
This book does not fail to please and has left me wanting to read more in this style and more from the writer.
I would advise anyone and everyone to read this comic as it is thoroughly enjoyable.
