American Ado-a Literary Primer
(Satish Kumar Shukla)
Schreiben Sie hier Ihre Kurzabhandlung hinein. MORE THAN A MATCH The neoimperialists are bad, very bad indeed, and their protagonist, this strong America, moreover dangerously led by the brinkmashiping gadfly, the Bush, so brutal that its- this neoRoman?s- hand would care neither for gladiators nor for eigen lions of whom now the bell tolls a hefty 2000 with ones and twos always dripping by into those macabre bloods, falling to democracy?s Sisyphusing cause, anyway founded on phony pretext-state cheating- none of American concern in any case. But the terrorists are the worse for not delivering to their foe coup de grace. That is a very fine weapon, of the mind before the shine of which even H-Bombs would pale. One such soul-the Rosa Park- Americans themselves have laid to rest recently. Another one, again theirs, is in the works- the Cindy Sheehan reviving Thoreau?s America- Civil Disobedience- upon this soured Republican. But the world is always good for a surprise. Mohammad Iqbal sang a paean to that by his famed eulogy: SITARON SE AAGE JAHAN AUR BHI HAIN which in English would read: stars there are beyond stars. I have here in mind a galaxy of stars beginning with Luther King, the American Gandhi, Emerson, Thoreau, and of course the mother of them all, the inimitable Mahatma Gandhi. Bush is but of transient time, lamed anyway by weights of his own misdoings, from his own White House intrigues over a ravished UNO and a raped Security Council all the way to hot hissing death fields of insurgent Iraq. Now hold your breath, readers! It is my turn and I have thrown a challenge to American Reaction the right Gandhi way, nonviolent but then stark as sun. I have spoken to Americans, all Americans, using sword sharp word. That is all. There is no need hitting their Trade Towers with humans loaded missiles. Not at all. A few choice incendiary words are more powerful. AMERICAN ADO-A LITERARY PRIMER is my vehicle, page upon page of nudging ?soliloquy? on America from its beginnings to its Bush ?conflagration? raging in all its ?glory? across the globe. And then it has stood by American conscience as a true friend where Americans themselves have failed, gone silent as stones, fooled into false patriotism. It is a book. It is word, fine word drenched in the art of poetry, a feast of reason and flow of soul as it belongs to forthright, honest and well meant opinion. It treats of America, to begin with, when America was still in time?s womb and describes then in winged fantasy?s words the labor, birth, growth, adolescence, youth- oh! This warring youth of this history?s strangest creature. It is strange because, from paucity of intellect, it rubs the world the wrong way and loses in the game all opportunity to lay foundation of a technical age civilization where humans could hope to find what they have always sought and failed to attain: happiness, bliss, above all peace of mind, thanking America for that example. So goes it in the book from How America Became, Boston Tea Party, The First Amendment, Mississippi, Inspiring America, Sickening America, American Riddle, American Flop, The Bush Block, Nine Eleven, Nine Eleven Return, Zero Ground up to the last wise word Samskrit Aphorism, 139 pages of poetry?s springs, gushes, currents, torrents, rapids and deep silent flows. That is the way to beat reactionary America, O terrorists! Not by flying planes into their symbolic towers. Thats the way Gandhi brought down British Empire?s masts. That?s the way he thumbed Apartheid?s nose. That?s the way Mandela brought about his own South African wonder. Strength is of the mind, weapon, the real, is of the intellect. Forge that weapon folks! both aliens and Americans. I have set a small example by publishing this book on my own account because New York publishers are interested in Best Seller dollars, not necessarily in peace and harmony reigning uponearth. They are fast buck minions. I am a simple world citizen, exalted. We common citizens very much are for peace, against war. Peace is of human soul?s quintessence. War is its Satanic Verse. Pick AMERICN ADO- A LITERARY PRIMER. It is Americans? Little Red Book. That is if Americans have their civilizational good in their terribly materialized minds. It is just the US$ 16.75 and a whole big window into quite another world of Wahrnehmung-microsoft perception you see. And you will remember to thank me, an East Indian for writing on America from sheer love for this neo but foundering nation.
